AIESEC Award 2014

AIESEC Award is one of the annual event held by at the end of term. AIESEC Award of this year is hold at Hayam Wuruk Hotel last Saturday (May 24th 2014). This event is organized by 7 peoples with Helvira Prima (ORI 21, Accountant and Governance Manager 1314) as Organizing Committee President.

This award is supposedly design to give big appreciation to our partners, entity and of course our new members ORI 22. The most honorable and the most awaited one is The Best New Member.

Beforehand, all of new members were asked to make an essay about their experiences in AIESEC.

Our partners also came to the event, they are Harian Umum Singgalang along with our Board of Advisor Bapak Basril Djabar and WarnaFm Station Manager Bunda Nina Muzbar.

From almost 50 new members submitted their story, the top 5 applicants selected and being asked questions about personal AIESEC life by the juries, Panji Agustian (MCVP IGIP AIESEC Indonesia 13/14), Siti Nurfitriana (LCVP Talent Management AIESEC UNAND 13/14) and Julianda Wirda Pratama (LC President AIESEC UNAND 13/14 and former Best New Member ORI 19). These top 5 New Members are: Fhadeo Irwandy, Fandra Syafriga, Hafiz Savero, Eko Septyadi, and Jonathan Evan Halim. After long discussion, finally that night the crown of Best New Member is placed for Eko Septyadi.

Eko Septyadi is the first year Universitas Andalas student majoring in International Economics. He joined AIESEC in October 2014. He’s currently staff of OGCDP AIESEC UNAND 13/14 and also International Conference Committe of Global Lead Summit 2014 that will be held this August. The crown is officially given by Yulianto Eka Putra, Best New Member ORI 21.
