Now, people not only talk about entrepreneur, not only talk
about self interest and profit maximizing their self. But People say,“its time for social entrepreneurship “. In
West Sumatera we know Masrial Koto, an social entrepreneurship that help many
farmers in west sumatera. But, we need more Masrial Koto, we need more social entrepreneurship
to build this province in order that can bring Indonesia to be better.
So AIESEC Universitas Andalas take this role. This year
AIESEC UNAND comes up with PBOX SOCIAL ENTREPRNEURSHIP. A project that commitment
to bear and create more young sociopreneur in West Sumatera. This events will
held from January-March 2012.
In 4th February 2012, this project start from Training
For Trainers (TFT). This event open
internally the project in scope of AIESEC UNAND and also debriefing for
Organizing Committee and all the trainees from many country that will involves in this project.
In this event, the OCs invite a man that expert in entrepreneurship.
He is Mr. Asmi Abbas, a lecturer of entrepreneurship in UNAND, involves in Entrepreneurship
Centre and many achievements that he get
in this side. He share how to be success entrepreneur and also how to be more
sensitive about issues around us. In order that we not just catch the opportunity for us but
also create for others and finally we can change the world better , that why we
called Social Entreprenuership, “Build
Your Self, Build others, and Build the world”.
In other side, Jamil Ihsan as a Management Board of AIESEC
UNAND that supervise this project, state that the targeted of this events is
1000 young people (17-24 years old) and hope this people will be leader and can
create big impact to society. He can
state like that because he consider how strong the commitment of OCs are.
The OCs that lead by Meria Andina as OCP start to create
their history in this project. They are coupling with HIPMI Sumbar (Hipmunan
Pengusaha Muda Indonesia) and Direktorat
Jendral pajak.
Because both institutions
can help them to create young
socioprenur that can contribute to build this nation.
